Description , What to expect?

[Takuapa Town]
Takuapa is a small town with a population of 9,000. It is a central town where business marketplaces, schools, and government administrations are. So, here you will find many local fresh markets, an inter-province bus station, a shopping mall, and several gas stations. And many big annual cultural events are often held here.

[Little Amazon or Lost Zone]
This watery forest was unknown for a long time. In the 90s, a local fisherman went into the forest and got lost. And when he returned, he brought good news. He told the local government the forest had a long, winding narrow river and a huge place of freshwater Banyan mangroves.

The government sent out a team to survey the forest and confirmed the discovery. Since then, the forest has been dedicated as a protected zone, equal to the status of a national park. The forest is then called the Lost Zone, but it is also called Little Amazon later on, because its long narrow brown river looks like the rivers found in the Amazon jungle.

Known wild animals such as monkeys, monitor lizards, snakes, and hornbill birds live in the forest.

  • After lunch visit the local Takuapa fresh market
  • Sightseeing to see the old tin mining factory, buffalos and old village
  • Visit a Thai Buddhist and a Chinese Temple

  • 15:30 to 16:00hrs – Return to your hotel
