Our Elephant Sanctuary practices a strict Ethical and Eco-Tourism Concept that creates a sustainable existence for those Elephants. There, elephants can just be elephants and live their happy life.

[Ethical Treatment of Our Elephants]
At our Elephant Sanctuary, no one is allowed to ride Elephants. Riding Elephants can badly harm their backbones. Therefore, Riding Elephants is completely banned here. In addition to that, visitors are not allowed to bathe our Elephants, because our Elephants were not born among humans but in the wild. As these Elephants are unfamiliar with visitors in such close contact, bathing them by visitors may harm their wellbeing. However, these Elephants do bathe with their Elephant mates. And visitors are always welcome to observe it.

What comes first to your mind when you think of Thailand? The lovely, precious, and majestically elegant Thai Elephant is called to mind, known locally as Chang Thai. For centuries, these Gentle Creatures have been playing big roles in Thai Society, History, and Culture. Thais lovingly consider Elephants to symbolize Honor, Courage, Generosity, Faith, and Royal Authority.

Thai elephants which is an animal that is deeply rooted in the culture and history of Thailand It is a symbol of honor, courage, kindness and royal power. Visitors can safely interact with these majestic animals, preparing food, feeding them, and walking with them while keeping a respectful distance. The experience also includes a serene bamboo raft ride along a jungle river.

Start your day with a hotel pick up. Followed by welcome drinks and orientation to the sanctuary. You will learn about the diet of elephants. Help make herbal compresses and feed the elephants. The mahout or camp keeper will share insights into the elephants’ health routines. It makes you understand and appreciate these gentle giants more.
