Description , What to expect?

[Monk Offerings]
Thai monks start their days very early in the mornings. They would walk often bare feet along the roads around the village and occasionally stop by to give good-wish prayers to people who give them offerings. Because of that, locals also often wake up very early to prepare food or to buy things for the offerings.

The offerings usually contain praying materials, food, fruits, or snacks that monks can take back to their temples and use them for the day.

[Fresh Market]
Takuapa Fresh Market is the place where locals sell or buy fresh produce, newly caught fishes, and all kinds of vegetables and cooking ingredients. Takuapa is a very small town. It is a marketplace for farmers and fishing people who live in the area.

[Old Town]
Takuapa Old Town used to be a settlement town where Chinese migrants who worked in tin mining lived around three hundred years ago. Slowly, their Chinese culture would mix with the local culture. Now the mixed culture is observable in food or drinks, building architectures, local businesses, cultural events, and temples.
