[Phi Phi Islands]
Phi Phi Islands are made up of several separate islands. The biggest ones are Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Lay respectively. Because of their unique geological shapes, the islands have mountainous limestone cliffs that surround the bays.

Different from one another, those bays give you shallow water filled with coral reefs and colorful fishes. And because the bays are surrounded by the Andaman Sea, the water here is fantastically clear, either bluish or turquoise depending on the season.

Other islands are smaller in nature and are located around those two big islands.

[Maya Bay]
The most famous bay of all bays here is Maya Bay. It is popularized by a Hollywood movie The Beach, which was starred by Leonardo DiCaprio. Aside from its popularity, Maya Bay is a paradise of its own. The bay is surrounded by several uniquely shaped vertical and tall limestone cliffs. And the white sandy beach along the bay is long and often shady, protected by the tall limestone cliffs. The bay also has a healthy population of coral reefs, so it is one of the best places in the world for both snorkeling and sunbathing.

[Island Monkeys]
There are monkeys living on Monkey Island. Their population is quite healthy and stable. Their habitat is in the forested parts of the limestone cliffs. Occasionally, they would explore the beach or the sea caves where they have been seen to have caught and eaten crabs. So far, no one really knows how the monkeys have managed to get to this particular island. Nowadays, the national park authority protects the monkey population there. Therefore, you cannot land on the beach near the monkey habitat anymore. You can see them only from the boat.
